Practical Treatment Strategies for Preschool
Children Who Stutter (.2 CEUs in each of 2 programs). Part I addresses the
evaluation and diagnosis of preschool-age children who stutter, as well as the
development of appropriate treatment recommendations. Part II continues with
specific suggestions about appropriate treatment goals and procedures to help
preschool children overcome early stuttering.
Practical Treatment Strategies for School-Age
Children Who Stutter (.2 CEUs in each of 2 programs). Part I addresses the
evaluation and diagnosis of school-age children who stutter. Part I also reviews
concrete strategies for helping school-age children improve their speech
fluency. Part II continues with specific suggestions about helping school-age
children improve their overall communication abilities, as well as guidance
about how to help those in the child's environment (parents, teachers, peers)
come to terms with and accept the child's stuttering.
