Overall Assessment of the Speaker’s Experience of Stuttering (OASES)

A comprehensive assessment tool that helps SLPs understand the experience of stuttering disorder from the perspective of the person who stutters. The OASES protocol measures more than severity – it provides impact scores and impact ratings that indicate how much stuttering affects a speaker’s communication and overall quality of life. Available for School-age children (7-12), Teenagers (13-17), and Adults (18 and up), with numerous translations available for international use!
